Omaha is known for being one of the most important cities in our nation’s frontier ("The Gateway to the West") and similarly, nothing symbolizes this strong, brave, Great Plains heritage more than the buffalo.
From the American Indian nations, to explorers traveling to the West, the buffalo and Omaha have become important symbols of both. Did you know from 1921-1927 Omaha even had a baseball team called the Buffaloes?
Designed by local artist/designer, Josh Schwieger, this Omaha Buffalo T-shirt was created especially for The Simple Man.
